Most of the black-and-white ruffed lemur’s diet is fruit, with leaves, nectar, and seeds consumed in lesser quantities. They are only active during daylight hours, passing their time foraging for food and caring for their young. A Matriarchal Society Black-and-white ruffed lemurs live in a matriarchal society, with the females being consistently dominant to males.
