Product Description…
VaporCom Odor Eliminators are engineered to treat fugitive nuisance odors in municipal and industrial applications.
These compact odor control units are designed to evaporate odor counteractants and neutralizers, treating malodors with an odor neutralizing vapor.
Product Features…
VaporCom Odor Eliminators are built for durability and corrosion resistance, providing years of reliable use.
Constructed from quality aluminum, stainless steel, polypropylene, and/or polyethylene components.
There are no nozzles with tiny orifices to clog, hydraulic lines to leak or burst, high pressure pumps that require routine oil changes or valve and seal replacement.
Vapor phase odor neutralization does not require a water source, allowing for operation in arid and remote applications.
All VaporCom models can work with frost-proof neutralizers that do not freeze, even in extremely low temperatures.
True vapor phase systems deliver an invisible odor neutralizing vapor, so there are no visibility concerns.
The neutralizing vapor does not settle out of the air to pool up on floors or walkways, reducing slip hazards.
Application Methods…
VaporCom Odor Eliminators are one of three components involved with Vapor-phase odor neutralization systems. To function properly; the VaporCom unit must be connected to a concentrated odor neutralizer (the neutralizer is the reactive portion of the system, the component that treats the malodor) and an vapor diffusion system (vapor flows through supply pipe to perforated pipe that delivers the neutralizing vapor).
Vapor diffusion systems are typically composed of high density polyethylene and/or polypropylene pipe and fittings, with the pipe being perforated in an appropriate manner to deliver the vapor to the treatment areas.
Vapor Diffusion Headers: A compact pipe header that is connected to and supported by the VaporCom unit, with large orifice vapor nozzles that can be directed as needed. Self-contained VaporCom units come with a simple Vapor Diffusion Header to maximize portability and minimize setup time and the equipment footprint.
Vapor Door Curtains: Perforated pipe is mounted around garage doors to treat fugitive odor emissions that escape buildings through drag-out fumes and/or crosswinds.
Vapor Diffusion Manifolds: Perforated pipe is mounted on the inlet or outlet of exhaust fans, louvres, and vents to treat odor emissions that escape buildings through ventilation.
Vapor Diffusion Lances: Perforated pipe is inserted into exhaust stacks and air ducts to treat malodorous ventilated air.
Vapor Diffusion Lines: Perforated pipe is mounted on fences or walls around odor sources such as a litter fence near the active cell of a landfill, the wall of an open tank, a fence near a greenwaste windrow, or a containment knee wall around a belt press or centrifuge.
Vapor Diffusion Stanchions: Vertical perforated pipe stanchions are connected to horizontal supply pipe and mounted on posts for exterior applications where there is not a fence or wall to connect to.
Vapor Phase Chemistry…
VaporCom Odor Eliminators require a quality odor neutralizer in order for the system to be effective; the neutralizer must be formulated to be a) environmentally and ecologically safe, b) safe for people to breath in, c) capable of evaporating clean without leaving behind excess residual waste in the evaporation chamber, and d) able to reduce odors when delivered in the vapor phase.
BioTriad manufactures a variety of odor neutralization lines for use in VaporCom Odor Eliminators, including VaporDOX, VaporScent, VaporXL, and VaporZyme .
